We have been wanting to go this place for a while since they had opened in Apex. We ordered their flight and it was amazing. Quantity was big for a flight and you get to try many flavors. Tasting available. Some of the flavors are unique, like orange chocolate, strawberry honey, sorbet etc. Even the sorbet's were creamy, which is the way I like them. I would definitely go back. Ambience is 5* Service is 5* Quality is 5* Location is 5* Taste is 5*

Some of the best ice cream I’ve had! A great selection of flavors and my favorite is the Salted Crackamel!! A little salty, a little sweet, completely delish! I love that it can get a sample to try out a whole bunch of flavors too. The Strawberry Honey is also superb too! A soft strawberry flavor with ribbons of honey that isn’t too sweet and perfect for summer. You can also get ice cream cakes and sundaes here too! Good service overall and modern vibes!

This was my first time at any Mama Bird's location. I liked that they had cake and specialty options to mix things up from a typical ice cream shop. I ordered an ice cream sandwich. Before ordering, I thought they might be made to order but was directed to a freezer with premade ice cream sandwiches. I had the Milk & Cookie remix, a cookies 'n cream cookie, and milk 'n cookies ice cream, and it was the best ice cream sandwich I have tried. The cookies were very flavorful. I appreciated their unique guest flavors. The inside was spacious, so if they were busy, there should be plenty of space to wait. There is limited seating inside, but there is also outdoor seating. This was a great treat, and I plan to return to try other flavors and creations.

I am a big fan of the Holly Springs location, so I was very excited for this one to open a 10-15 minute walk from my home in Apex. I stopped by for the first time yesterday and while the ice cream was just as tasty, it seems that the staff here still has some work to do on their waffle cones. They’re too thin, and just not sturdy. As I walked home with my cone yesterday it quickly started to leak (from the sides as well as the bottom) and then developed a hole, and from there it completely fell apart. For $8 that’s not what I expect. I understand they’re new and I really hope this will improve with more training & experience. I also agree that scoops are smaller compared to other similar ice cream places, and even compared to the other Mama Birds location.
